Learn with me

at the Micro Fiber School and other locations in the San Francisco Bay Area

I’m a teaching artist and textile enabler. I love passing on skills and techniques to fiber curious folks. Here’s where you can take classes with me.

Micro Fiber School

I run a “micro-sized” textile school out of my studio in the Alameda Artworks in San Jose, CA. Learn how to weave, sew, and dye fabric & yarn.

See https://www.microfiberschool.com/learn for a full list of upcoming classes and events.

Maker Nexus

I teach textile and equipment classes at Maker Nexus in Sunnyvale, including:

  • Textiles I: Machine Sewing & Studio Skills (Equipment Training)

  • Basic Clothing Repair and Tailoring

  • Barudan CNC Embroidery Machine (Equipment Training)

  • Industrial Sewing Machines (Equipment Training)

  • Direct to Garment Printer (Equipment Training)

You don’t have to be a member to take a class. For more details, see https://www.makernexus.org/classes.

I also host a monthly Craft Night meetup, free and also open to non-members. RSVP on the Maker Nexus website or their Meetup group.

…and more!
