Mette Ring Earrings

I was playing around with Mette Rings, which are modular origami creations made from either 10 or 18 of the same unit. What this basically means is that you can fold the same shape a ton of times, and then assemble all the pieces like a puzzle to make awesome rings.

They’re super bold and interesting looking. I especially like the look of the 10 piece rings: simple and clean. So for my first project, I decided to make earrings out of them. The paper used in the inner mette ring has half the dimensions of the outer.
