These look great for shibori, glad I thought to buy multiple sets. Have not used them yet but looking forward to doing so in the next week or so.

The banner I made for in-person events. I aim to encourage curiosity and community in textiles.
Here's my indigo vat! I maintain a small natural indigo vat in my backyard and use it to dye fabric and yarn.
I grow a few dyes plants in my garden each spring. Most go to my own art practice, but I sell extras in my shop!
I absolutely love to learn new things! Here's my WIP from a velvet class with Barbara Setsu Pickett in 2023.

Textile artist and crafter extraordinaire

Hi, I'm Ally! I'm a textile artist: I weave on hand looms, piece and sew cloth, dye fabric and yarn, and grow my own dye plants. But above all, I’m a constant and opportunistic learner. My goal in life is to acquire all skills and learn everything about everything – a goal I will happily never achieve!

This shop supports my fine art practice. It allows me to share the tools I design and create with others who may find them useful. And it gives me a place to sell my colorful textile experiments and see them live on in other peoples' lives.
